Upgrade to Syslog Watcher 5.2

This article describes how to upgrade Syslog Watcher 5.0.x/5.1.0 to version 5.2.x only.
  1. Back up Syslog Watcher configuration
  2. Stop Syslog Watcher Server
  3. Close Syslog Watcher Manager (GUI application)
  4. Install Syslog Watcher 5.2 using the MSI file downloaded from our website
  5. Run Syslog Watcher Manager
  6. Open Settings and check that the configuration is correct
  7. (Optional) The storage backup settings have changed: check that the configuration is correct.
  8. Start Syslog Watcher Server
